The industry of computer games is continuously developing its techniques and strategies in order to make more and more appealing games. However, each company that produces video games is specialized in a certain type of games that address to a certain age group. This usefulness however, must be understood with limits as there is also a very obvious effect that computer games create that of determining addiction from their users and players.

I wish every game developer shared your opinion of “not to let it create addiction among players”. I think many do… look at all the people waiting for Grand Theft Auto4.
I do believe that games help develop imagination. The current creators probably played games such as Zelda and Final Fantasy growing up.
There are some also some bad effects of computer games if playing computer games are not properly done like over-independence on video games could foster social isolation, as they are often played alone, practicing violent acts may contribute more to aggressive behavior than passive television watching, game environments are often based on plots of violence, aggression and gender bias, many games only offer an arena of weapons, killings, kicking, stabbing and shooting, playing violent video games may be related to aggressive behavior (Anderson & Dill, 2000, Gentile, Lynch & Walsh, 2004), games can confuse reality and fantasy, the player may be more affected because he or she controls the game and experiences the action through the eyes of his or her character and in order to win players must become more violent to win that is what showed in many violent games and Academic achievement may be negatively related to over-all time spent playing video games
I think that focusing the development of video games around the end result (such as increasing reaction time) is pointless. You need a good subject and great execution to make the game useful. Buy that’s just me.
