Finaly released
Finally released a stable version of new Wordpress 2.5, and i must admit that i was very excited about new features:
- all new customizable dashboard,
- support for multi-file upload,
- one-click plugin upgrades,
- faster load times,
- built-in galleries
- and much more.
The Wordpress.org site has also been redesigned and it looks marvellous with the new colors and design. If you plan to upgrade your blog Backup your files and database first, also i’ll recommend you that you upgrade all plugins before you upgrade. Unlike previous releases, this Wordpress 2.5 upgrade involves some database changes too. You can also follow the official Wordpress instructions while upgrading.
Wordpress 2.5 - Sneaky Peeky
The time I have been waiting for to test new Wordpress 2.5 is here. I wait patiently and finally got it.
Some features taken from WordPress.org:
A customizable dashboard, multi-file upload, built-in galleries, one-click plugin upgrades, tag management, built-in Gravatars, full text feeds, and faster load times.
Dashboard is finally redesigned and it look nicer and easier to navigate behind the scenes.
There is lot similarity to Tiger Style Administration plugin but not that similar.
